Over 180 Pickaway County students had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the many in-demand careers available in our community in modern manufacturing! Manufacturing plants that opened their doors for student tours were: Sofidel America, PPG Industries, DuPont, Kenworth Truck Company Novelis and EPC Industries. An “Education Options” fair with Pickaway-Ross CTC, Shawnee State University and Columbus State University represented, highlighting next steps for students interested in pursuing careers in manufacturing.

A visit through the Manufacturing on the Move mobile unit manned by Shawnee State faculty and students from the Engineering Technolgies department, with VR goggles and simulations of manufacturing careers.
