Pickaway Manufacturing Day was held October 7th to raise awareness of the many in-demand career opportunities in modern manufacturing.

Pickaway WORKS’ business partners DuPont, PPG, Kenworth Truck Company, EG Industries, Health Care Logistics and MidWest Fabricating opened their doors to host groups of over 100 students from five area high schools to help celebrate National Manufacturing Month.

Students were able to tour these facilities and learn first-hand about in-demand, high paying careers in science, engineering, design, robotics, IT, sales, marketing, research and more. A lunchtime presentation was provided by Pickaway-Ross CTC on the education options available to advance in the field of modern manufacturing.
