Job shadow experiences allow students the opportunity to explore careers, gather realistic career information and learn workplace expectations. The insight and perspective gained from a job shadow experience is beneficial to students in their education choices and career planning decisions and provides awareness of what is required for career success.
Job shadow experiences can be onsite or virtual and are typically for short lengths of time, from half day, all day to possibly several days.
Internships are typically longer in time commitment and can be anywhere from the “entry-level” overview type to a more in depth, “professional-project” type of position. Details are tailored to suit the business partner and are decided on a case-by-case basis.
*Please contact us if you are willing to host a student in a job shadow or internship position.
